Must Know for Silk Scarf

Silk twill is a strong silk weave with a distinctive diagonal pattern. This 100% silk fabric is more durable than regular silk and is used to make most high-end scarves. However, there are different weights of silk twill. Some silk scarves will be heavier than others depending on the maker and design, but that does not dismiss the quality. Most silk scarves that use silk twill are finished by a hand-rolled or a fold-over hem. Brands like Hermes, Chanel, and Ferragamo use silk twill for most of their printed silk scarves and finished with a hand-rolled hem.
